Moulton Nursery Butterfly Babies portrait

This group is 0-2 years. The babies have four dedicated rooms as well as access to our sensory room.

They have a dedicated quiet room where the children can sleep during the day on cots or mats, or explore the black and white area specifically designed for babies. Another room focuses on physical play and messy activities throughout the entire day. The babies also have their own feeding room for meal times and a separate room for changing nappies.

Staff ratio = 1:2 or 1:3 when babies are over 7 months of age

Our Moulton nursery has been running since July 1999. It is a spacious single storey building making access easy for everyone. We can have up to 86 children each day spread across our 3 age groups.

The nursery is close to the A43 and A45 meaning that our children come from Moulton as well as the rest of the county. Please come and look round any time before 11.30am or after 2pm!

Our fees and extra-curricular activities are listed below!

Payment of Fees

Fees are due one month in advance (by the 28th) via bank transfer or childcare voucher. If for whatever reason funds have not been received by the 28th, a daily charge of £5.00 will be added to your account until it is settled.

Full fees are payable for any time that your child is absent from nursery or the nursery is closed for any reason. The nursery will be closed on Bank Holidays and 3-5 days at Christmas for which there will be no reduction in fees.

Extra sessions are subject to availability and cannot be swapped for your standard sessions. Extras are charged at the normal rate and do not receive any discounts, they will appear on your next invoice.

One month’s notice IN WRITING is required to cancel or reduce any sessions otherwise charges will remain.

Unfortunately childcare is expensive to buy because it’s expensive to provide. Highly qualified staff, ratios, increases in the National Living Wage and staff pensions all impact on staff costs – arguably the biggest outlay for any setting.

Add to this increases in costs associated with running any business: utilities, rates, training, maintenance, consumables and it’s clear that quality provision for our little ones doesn’t come cheap! For more information on what help is available please go to  www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

2 Year old Funding

The eligibility checker is on Northamptonshire County Council website. For eligible children it is available for 15 hours during term time, the term after their 2nd birthday. You may choose any of the sessions above to make up your 15 hours. There are no extra charges applied to 2 year old funding and this continues throughout your time at nursery.

3 & 4 Year old Funding

Children will become eligible for universal funding for 15 hours the term after their 3rd birthday. Parents do not need to do anything to apply for this funding as long as nursery has all the relevant details. The extended entitlement (30 hours) is then for those children who have both parents working over 16 hours per week.

We will be offering 2 options for the 3 & 4 year old funding - see the download below for more.
